Here is a small sampling of the skills and supplies that you or your group might contribute to your local coalition:

• Volunteer participation--to help plan or run a specific coalition one-time event or program
   
• Computers and/or computer expertise
   
• Specialized skills, such as market research, writing reports and proposals, event planning, community organizing
   
• Provide resources such as meeting spaces, transportation, media contacts and publicity
   
• Supplies, such as building materials, printing services, refreshments for meetings, and mailings
   
• Contacts with related groups, such as neighborhood, youth groups or tenant associations
