A community coalition is dependent on its partners and volunteers.
If you or your group would like to take a more active role with
Beaverton Together, but are not sure what you have to offer, here
are some suggestions.

Faith Community:

Distribute flyers and information about events and activities to your membership.

Law Enforcement:
WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR US?
Help us advocate for stricter enforcement. Help educate parents on the dangers of providing alcohol
parties for teens.

Beaverton Businesses:
WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR US?
Help distribute educational materials that support our vision, be involved in our events like Prom
Perfect and other school campaigns.

Health and Addictions Organizations:
WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR US?
Participate in our events and campaigns. Help to improve community wellness by providing speakers
and materials for workshops.

Government and Civic Organizations:
WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR US?
Help with advertising, space and support for events and activities. Help with communicating who we
are and what we are doing.

Teachers and Schools:
WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR US?
Support us in our efforts to improve our school community. Partner with others to make the best of
resources.

Media:

Sponsor community events. Cover, broadcast and report the positive work that we are doing in the
Beaverton.

Parents:

Talk to your kids and set rules around “no drinking”, “no drugs”, “no tobacco”.
